MNA Re-TIREd Nurses
(Transition into Retirement Effectively)

MNA Re-TIREd Nurses was formed to help retired nurses transition into retirement effectively. Nurses in this group believe that they are starting out on a new journey and that is the reason the name contains the word "tire." We are re-tiring to start this journey.

The object of the group is to share expertise with each other and to help other nurses grow in the profession. This group will provide retired nurses an avenue to stay connected with the profession by active participation in their nursing organization.

One of the goals is to discover how we can as a group work for the betterment of the profession and nurses. We also will look at legislation that affects health and nursing and try to effect some changes through legislation and by working with the legislative group of MNA.

Because of who we are, we hope to investigate health care insurance and other factors that affect retired nurses.

Even though we plan on doing some work, we also want to have some fun. We are just starting out, so join us on our journey and have a say in the direction the group takes.
