WEDNESDAY NIGHT, JULY 25th-Get on the Bus to the Brockton Nurses Strike!!

Time: 6:00 p.m. bus leaves Boston (from Charles St.), arrives in Brockton 7:00 p.m. We will stay on the picket until 9 p.m., and return to Boston by 10:00 p.m.

Massachusetts Jobs With Justice wants workers' rights advocates to head down to Brockton with us next Wednesday night, July 25th to support the Brockton Hospital Nurses. The strike will be in its 62nd day at that point!! Bus leaves from Charles St., by the underground parking garage (accessible by T-"Boylston" stop on Green, "Park St." stop on Red, "Downtown Crossing" on Orange). This is the section of Charles St. between the Boston Common and the Public Gardens.

Nurses are demanding an end to mandatory overtime and an improvement in staffing levels. We will be relieving them on the picket so that they can attend a town meeting to update the community on their situation. To reserve a seat on the bus, or for more information, call Mass. Jobs With Justice at 617.524.8778. Right now, we have reserved a single, 47-seat bus. We would love to call them Friday and ask to reserve another! Let us know how many of you and your friends will be joining us. A collection will be taken on the bus (suggested donation $5-10, NOT REQUIRED) to defray some of the costs. We contracted Brush Hill Bus Company out of Randolph because they're UNIONIZED!
