MNA District 1 and Franklin Medical Center Sponsor Seminar By Author Joan Borysenko on How Busy People Can Find Inner Peace

MNA District 1 and the nurses of Franklin Medical Center are proud to present a seminar by noted author and mind-body expert Joan Borysenko, Ph.D., entitled "Inner Peace for Busy People." The program will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2001 from 7-9 p.m. at Greenfield High School, located at 1 Lenox Ave. in Greenfield, Mass.

Joan Borysenko has a powerfully clear vision to bring science, medicine, psychology and sprituality together in the service of healing. Her brilliance as a scientist, clinician and teacher has placed her on the leading edge of the mind/body revolution, and she has become a world-renown spokesperson for this new approach to health. A licensed psychologist, Dr. Borysenko is co-founder and former director of the mind/body clinical programs at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, on which her bestselling book, Mending the Mind is based.

Addmission is $17.50 in advance or $20 at the door. For information, call 413.584.4607.
