The Stat Team was formed with the goal of creating a network of nurses and health care professionals who can be called upon to quickly respond to MNA and NENA events and other urgent actions where a strong Association presence is needed.
Types of activities attended by members of the Stat Team include leafleting campaigns, bargaining unit pickets, candlelight vigils, rallies, political events and other occasions where visibility, a show of unity and advocacy for MNA and NENA members is warranted.
Stat Team members are not required to attend regular meetings but are asked to participate in six mobilization events a year – and for those unable to meet that minimum, no worries. Whatever level of participation you can provide is valued.
In addition to a number of incentives to join, Stat Team members are recognized at an annual celebration where their commitment to being first responders are acknowledged, applauded and lauded.
Informal and unstructured by design, the ultimate goal of the Stat Team is to have fun while making voices heard…where it counts and when it counts.
Be where the action is and have fun taking action by joining the Team…Stat!
