As the largest union of health care professionals
in Massachusetts, the MNA represents over 23,000 nurses
in more than 80 health care facilities across the
Commonwealth, ranging from large metropolitan hospitals
to community hospitals, school nurses, public health
nurses and visiting nurses associations. Through legally
protected collective action and contract language,
members have the power to secure benefits and working
conditions which foster professional growth and promote
quality patient care.
