Come Celebrate Labor Day!
Bread and Roses Centennial Festival & Labor Day March for Social Justice

Monday, September 3, 2012
12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Campagnone Common, Lawrence, MA

MNA members are invited to celebrate the Centennial of the Bread and Roses strike by joining the Labor Day March for Social Justice which precedes the opening of the festival. We will meet at 10:30 a.m. to assemble and the march will begin at 10:45 a.m. The tentative route for the March will go from Malden Mills to Campagnone Commons where the festival will take place. (1.4 miles)

If you are unable to participate in the march MNA members will also have a booth at the festival. As the largest labor union for nurses in this state we are inviting all members to join together in
solidarity with other workers and organizations to join the March for Social Justice and celebrate Labor Day, the national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and wellbeing of our country.

We are asking MNA members from across the State to send a contingent to the March and the festival. If you can walk in the Labor Day March or can help man the MNA table at the festival please contact Eileen Norton at 1-800-882-2056 ext 777 or email ENorton@mnarn.org or call Jeanine Hickey at 1-800-882-2056 ext 739 or email JHickey@mnarn.org.
