Join MNA for Boston Women's March for America

12.15.2016

Join MNA members on January 21st beginning at 11am for the Boston Women's March for America. The MNA board endorsed the march on Thursday, Dec. 15 and declared solidarity with communities most affected by hate. As of last week more than 9,000 marchers have committed to attending in Boston.

If you are planning on attending it is recommended you sign up for the Boston march here: http://bostonwomensmarchforamerica.org/  so that organizers of the event can ensure that adequate resources are available. MNA members should wear your MNA blue over your warmer layers and gather at the Boston Common at the corner of Beacon and Charles Street. Look for the MNA banner so we can march together. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions (hat, gloves, etc.) and wear warm boots/shoes.

"On January 21, 2017, we will unite in downtown Boston to march in solidarity with communities most affected by the hate, intolerance and acts of violence being perpetrated throughout the nation—among many are communities of women, immigrants, people of color, and people who identify as LGBTQIA. Together, we will send a message to our leaders and the world that the United States of America stands for values of human decency, equal rights and freedom from discrimination.

"ALL ARE WELCOME-not just women! This is a march for ALL of us. Our goal is that on the day after the Inauguration, people from Massachusetts and hundreds of thousands of Americans from other cities, towns and schools across the nation will march together. We will work peacefully to send a bold message to our elected leaders.
