Update on the State’s Requirement That You Take an Approved “Sexual & Domestic Violence Prevention” Course

Many questions and concerns are still out there about the state's new requirement that all RNs take a mandatory, state-approved course on "Sexual & Domestic Violence Prevention." The attached photo provides you with the latest update on this matter. Please pay particular attention to the starred area, which highlights good news for those who are feeling pressured and/or panicked.

The MNA has been running a DPH-approved program on this issue. Some programs are upcoming and still have very limited space available; others are already booked to capacity. Please visit the MNA's events calendar to learn more: https://www.massnurses.org/news-and-events/events

*** Please note that BOTH three-hour sessions scheduled for April 25 in Canton ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED ***

We will continue to post updates on this matter as we receive them from the Department of Public Health.
