Open Membership Meeting Scheduled For Coral Seafood on Monday Night at 6 p.m.
The University campus negotiating team has confirmed that the next round of negotiations for a new contract will be held Monday, April 20, from 1 – 5 p.m. at the DCU Center, just three days before our one-day strike date of May 23.
We look forward to this opportunity to meet with management and, with help from the federal mediator, to try and reach a settlement that addresses our needs. As you know, the Memorial Committee reached a tentative agreement on Friday. Members are welcome to attend the session to observe negotiations on Monday. The negotiations will take place in the “Shark Tank” room in the DCU, which is located on the second floor.
To make sure members are informed about the progress of talks, and to answer questions about the strike, we have scheduled an open meeting at Coral Seafood for Monday night at 6 p.m. Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you next week.
