Nurses still fighting for contract
Tuesday, September 25
To the editor:
As a registered nurse who has spent her entire career at North Adams Regional Hospital, I would like to thank all of the patients whom I have taken care of over the last 30 years.
You have given me respect and compassion and have taught me more than you will ever know. I am so sorry that the negotiations have broken down and it has come to a strike vote.
It is with great regret that we all will do what we have to do, but just as we have fought long and hard for quality care and patient safety, we need to do the same for ourselves and our families.
