Workplace Violence: A Plan to Protect Nurses

Workplace Violence Program Description: The purpose of this program is to provide nurses and others with tools to utilize when developing workplace violence prevention programs in facilities where they work.
Contact Hours: This Activity for 1.5 Contact Hours will be provided by the Massachusetts Nurses Association. To successfully complete a program and receive contact hours, you must: 1) sign in, 2) be present for the entire period of the session and 3) complete and submit the evaluation.
The Massachusetts Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Program Cancellation: MNA reserves the right to change speakers or cancel programs for extenuating circumstances. In case of inclement weather, please call MNA Region One at 413-584-4607 and press 3 to determine whether a program will run as originally scheduled. Registration and fees will be reimbursed for all programs.
Chemical Sensitivity: Scents may trigger responses in those with chemical sensitivities. Men and women are requested to avoid wearing scented personal products when attending this meeting/program.
