Congratulations to the MNA at St. Vincent Hospital Center for Psychiatry. Hospital administrators announced on April 22, 2009 that they have rescinded their closure notice to DPH and that the unit will remain open. Nurses worked very hard to prevent the closure of this unit, lobbying Worcester area legislators and Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray, and their efforts paid off!
