IN "ONE Obama healthcare goal elusive," Lisa Wangsness informs readers that in the healthcare system, "there is also a staggering amount of waste and unnecessary disease, which is what Obama and congressional leaders are now targeting to try to save money."
Although I’m certain that President Obama and our so-called congressional leaders will have no difficulty eliminating waste from the healthcare system, given that each and every one of them is, after all, an expert in the healthcare field, having amassed decades of experience in all facets of the industry, I am somewhat skeptical of the second claim. I’m just not sure they can get the bipartisan support needed to pass legislation abolishing unnecessary disease.
