Emergency Preparedness Task Force Meeting/Presentation: “Seasonal and H1N1 (“Swine flu”) Update” and “Behavioral Health Issues During a Pandemic”
Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2009
Time: 5:30 pm –8:00 pm

This meeting of the EP Task will focus on flu preparations, both seasonal and H1N1 (“swine” flu) for the coming flu season and on behavioral health issues related to pandemics.

Seasonal flu vaccine administration will begin much earlier this year, followed by what will likely be a two step (two separate doses) H1N1 vaccine adminstration program. The MA Public Health Council has expanded criteria for whom may be designated to provide flu vaccine. Learn about these changes and bring question or mail them in advance to Mary Crotty RN JD, at mcrotty@mnarn.org
