MNA Board Members Discuss the Issue of Workplace Violence as Part of NECN Coverage of the Johns Hopkins Incident
MNA Vice President Karen Coughlin and MNA Board Member Kathie Logan were featured today in an NECN investigation into the issue of workplace violence in health settings in the wake of the tragic incident at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. The incident and the growing epidemic of violence in health care settings underscores the need for passage of a workplace violence prevention bill, filed by the MNA.
