Regis College is spearheading a new program in Haiti to help better train local nurses, providing $550,000 worth of in-kind services, the Weston school says. The Regis Haiti Project was conceived prior to the 2010 earthquake, having been developed over the last few years. The college’s School of Nursing, Science, and Health Professions has partnered with the Haitian Ministry of Health, nursing school leaders in Haiti, and the Boston-based organization Partners In Health.
