Grab a Tray on MNA
The first very successful MNA day in the cafeteria was held on Friday, March 4, 2011 and several members came to eat and “talk union” with each other over lunch. Nurses were invited to come to discuss issues and share opinions about nursing issues and quality of patient care.
Join us again, listed below are the upcoming dates that have been chosen to coincide about one week prior to our labor/management meetings:

Unity is Forever/Solidarity is Forever
Many nurses have been wearing black scrubs on Thursdays to show unity and show our grief and concern over the loss of Safe Patient Care.
Grievance Success!!!
The Mercy nurses have settled grievances over the hospital’s refusal to allow them to maintain dependents on the family plan. Each nurse will receive a check in the amount of the settlement.
