NURSES TO PICKET AT BERKSHIRE MEDICAL CENTER
FIGHTING FOR PATIENT SAFETY AND AN EQUITABLE CONTRACT
The Registered Nurses of the Berkshire Medical Center will hold an informational picket at the hospital on Monday, May 16 to inform the public about serious issues affecting the quality of patient care and their struggle for an equitable and fair contract. This is the completion of the picket they began on April 28 which was suspended because of a severe thunder and lightning storm. The RNs of the Massachusetts Nurses Association bargaining unit have been in negotiations with management since July 2010.
