GREENFIELD, MA — The Registered Nurses of Baystate Franklin Medical Center will picket in front of the hospital on Thursday, August 9. The nurses, members of the Massachusetts Nurses Association/National Nurses United bargaining unit, have been attempting to negotiate a new contract for ten months. The purpose of the picket line is inform the community about Baystate’s unwillingness to compromise, their continued insistence on concessions, and the lack of respect Baystate has shown its nurses and our community.
