The piece includes harrowing testimony by nurses from Brigham & Women’s Hospital who suffered assaults just months following the shooting death of a surgeon at the hospital earlier this year. Even under these worst-case circumstances, management still refused to provide a safe workplace. We need to pass H 1687 and we need to do it now.
