Region 4 Virtual Offering: Staying Out of Court: A Legal Update for Nurses

Description: Nurses are now ranked as the second most commonly named defendant in a malpractice lawsuit. This program will describe the anatomy of a lawsuit including potential sources of claims and documentation issues as well as the chain of command utilized to address patient concerns. The program will include case study and analysis.

Location: This program is a live “Virtual Continuing Educational Program” offered via Zoom.

Fee: Member/Associate Member, free. However, a $25 placeholder fee, which will be returned upon attendance, is required to complete registration. Non-Members: A $95 charge is required; call for registration.
